I am please to release Strategy 2015. Over the past 14 months Board members have been working very hard to produce a strategy that has relevance to our member's, stakeholders and staff while also articulating a pathway of sustainability and a vision of leadership.
There are so many people that need to be individually thanked around Australia and New Zealand for making this strategy come to life. I personally would like to say thank you to them for all your hard work and commitment in making Strategy 2015 a reality.
The strategy is divided into six priorities areas and 21 broad strategies with deliverable targets. The strategy will become part of the overall operating framework for SSSI, where there is a line-of-sight between high level strategic direction and the member. This was one of the most important elements identified when developing Strategy 2015 and was considered to be one of the most fundamental requirements that the strategy should include.
This is an exciting time for SSSI and as you read through the strategy you will see that we have set the bar very high on deliverables to our members and stakeholders in the coming years. I hope you all read Strategy 2015, be inspired a little and become active member in SSSI and make it a great professional organisation in the Asia Pacific.
Over the next few months Roger Buckley, CEO and I will be launching the strategy to as many members as possible at Regional Events.
