Over the weekends of October 22nd and 29th 2011, 14 Tasmanian Secondary students and 9 surveyors began to mark the boundary. Essentially, wherever a property fence or road reserve intersected with the parallel, a red polypropylene survey peg was installed. The first stage of the pegging project has marked a 30km section across the Midlands area of the state.
