Spatial Innovation Showcase
The Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute has joined forces with the Tasmanian Spatial Information Council (TASSIC) the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) to host Tasmania's inaugural Spatial Innovation Showcase at
Wrest Point Convention Centre, Hobart on 27 October 2011.
The theme for this year's event is to ‘get a new outlook on the world . . why location REALLY matters for Tasmania's future'.
In line with this theme, the event organisers have brought together an impressive line-up of presentations that aim to present the big picture, showcasing relevant national and international ideas and initiatives for addressing multiple business needs and achieving operational efficiencies through the use of spatially referenced information in day-to-day operations.
Registrations are now open through the SSSI website http://www.sssi.org.au/index/region/8.html.
