State of GIS Seminar, The Old Woolstore, May 17 2011.

Over ninety delegates attended the recent State of GIS Seminar held in Hobart. The keynote speaker was The Hon Gary Nairn, Chairman of the Tasmanian Spatial Information Council.

 

The delegates embraced the quick fire format with topics including State of the Climate, Embedded GIS, Integrating Spatial Systems at Forestry Tasmania and Mobile Data – Policing keeping the audience attentive.

 

The afternoon concluded with delegates sharing a congenial drink as they discussed the hot topics of the day.
