A Message from the ACT Region Committee Chair
Australia’s National Capital Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), has a progressive and vibrant spatial science community. The ACT Regional Committee of the SSSI represents this community, and this site will be maintained to provide information on our various initiatives, both past and future.
Our objective as a Committee is to service the needs of our members and play our part in growing the ACT community’s knowledge of the spatial sciences. To do this we have adopted a more flexible committee structure which recognises our need to administer the Regions affairs, but also has a focus on the two main discipline groups in the ACT, 'Surveyors' and 'Spatial Information/Remote Sensing professionals'.
We encourage you to visit this site regularly for news of what is happening in the ACT Region. We also value your feedback and ideas as to how we can better meet your needs.
