Dr Zaffar Sadiq Mohamed-Ghouse is a Principal Consultant at GHD, Australia. SSSI General Representative – Matt Duckham

Matt Duckham is an Associate Professor in Geographic Information Science at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and works in the Geomatics research group in the Department of Infrastructure Engineering. He also holds an ARC Future Fellowship (2010-2014) for research on the topic of ambient spatial intelligence (AmSI). Before coming to Melbourne in 2004, he worked at the NCGIA (National Center for Geographic Information and Analysis) at the University of Maine, US.

SSSI Vic Secretary – Maree Platt

Maree currently works part-time at the Department of Environment and Primary Industries within the Information Services division. Her role includes data management across a range of environmental datasets, policy work such as mapping standards for the Department, cartography and map accessibility, providing GIS support, and assisting each fire season in the State Control Centre.  Her previous data management/GIS roles have covered a range of areas including forests, land administration, public land, agriculture, biodiversity and fire litigation.
