RS&P Commission

The Commission represents the collective interests of its members, being Remote Sensing & Photogrammetry professionals within Australia and New Zealand.

The Commission is resourced and supported by the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute. It consists of a National Committee together with Regional Level Committees to ensure comprehensive representation of its Members in order to promote the interests of the professional disciplines.

Our Mission

To provide the remote sensing and photogrammetry community with relevant professional development and representation through:

Innovation in service delivery;
Current and timely Continuing Professional Development program;
Rigorous Professional Certification;
Representation at major national and international meetings and forums;
Highlighting and contributing to globally important research agendas through Working Groups; and
Coordination of important conferences and meetings.
