The Commission represents the collective interests of its members, being Engineering & Mining Surveying professionals within Australia and New Zealand.

 

The Commission is resourced and supported by the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute. It consists of a National Committee together with Regional Level Committees to ensure comprehensive representation of its Members in order to promote the interests of the professional disciplines.

The Engineering & Mining Surveying Commission represents surveying professionals from two broad areas:

 

 

Membership

Membership of the Commission is open to all people who are members of SSSI who have an interest in Engineering & Mining Surveying. All successful applicants who elect to become members of SSSI shall be automatically included on the Engineering & Mining Surveying Commission roll.
