Overview

Surveying Statutory Covenants and the general titling requirements of those Covenants.

SSSI (QLD) presents a session with particular relevance on a range of surveying and general titling requirements.

Richard Statham from the Department of Environment and Resource Management will host this seminar drawing on his experience to provide extensive first-hand knowledge of this essential topic.

The introduction of statutory covenants into Queensland in 1997 produced a range of options for surveyors and the land development sector in creating development outcomes satisfactory to local authorities. Subsequent amendments have further qualified the use and application of statutory covenants.  This session proposes to fully explain the survey and titling requirements of these instruments and to explore how they may be used in different situations.
