The Tasmanian Region provides members with an active network to maintain professional knowledge and technical skills. We provide the opportunity to meet fellow professionals and share knowledge within the spatial sector.
We are committed to providing a high quality continuous professional development program for surveying and spatial professionals alike.
Members can participate by attending conferences, seminars and workshops. The chance to contribute by serving on a local or regional committees or being active in your chosen Commission is available. Enhance your professional skills by presenting a paper at one of the many technical sessions, seminars or conferences we hold.
The Tasmanian Region has an active and growing membership, with broad representation from across the various disciplines in the Surveying and Spatial Sciences sector.
Student membership of the Institute is free. The Committee encourages participation from students in events and at the Regional Committee level.
